What we keep. Not much.

Email alerts

If you subscribe, we store your email address, your dumbness threshold and a random token for confirming and unsubscribing. We use it only to send you dumb-bet alerts. Emails are delivered by Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all emails immediately.

Clown votes and rate limits

To count one vote per person and stop sign-up spam, we store a one-way hash of your IP address mixed with a secret. We never store the IP itself.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and bets people read and which links they click. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner; until then Google receives only cookieless, anonymous signals (Consent Mode). You can change your mind any time: cookie settings.

Your browser

We keep two small things in your browser's local storage: which bets you clown-voted (so the button stays pressed) and your cookie choice. Nothing else.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time. Write to info@dumbestbets.com. We don't sell data, and we don't share it beyond the services named above.
